The Kendo tournament Saturday was extremely fun. I woke up at 5:45 am to drive to Jon's house. Me, Stewart, and Jon carpooled to the Tournament being held at a local armory. Not the largest turnout ever, but still very fun. 8 students from our Dojo were present. Other schools like East-West and some random school from South Carolina are the only two that I really remember. The picture to the right is of two students sparring with Chambarra while Sensei Mindy (woman in black and light blue gi) watches on.The three kendo students from our dojo all performed the Northern Directional, a mid-level sword kata. It looked really impressive.
Overall, a very fun tournament.

you know, you should really think about telling us non-kendo people what all the asian terms actually mean
I hate to say it, but... I completely agree with Jake. I mean, Dojo? Sounds dirty to me. Kendo=the NEW FFXI! Woo-hoo! lol, next you'll all join guard! Muahahaha! Ahem. Done. Bye!
